2wd Tire Sizes

If you want all of your wheel travel (off road) then You can't realy go much bigger than stock. I put 245/75-R16 BFG A/T's on mine. And even that, I found was to big. I hit a rock and bottomed out, ripping my inner fender out.
If your not going to get to crazy offroad then you could go bigger. But without a lift, its a trade. Tire size or wheel travel. I'm going with both. So that means lift.

go big
I put BFG All Terrain TA 285/75/16s on my 97 F150 w/ no problems at all.
They look soooo sweet. Give even a 2wd a pretty fierce look.
