Question Black wheels?

I want wheels like the Bullit wheels with the spokes black instead of the anthracite grey. Does anyone make wheels like this already black or will I have to paint some myself? American Racing Torque style is great as well but they do not have black, just chromed or grey.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

They probably aren't availabe in black. Just buy a set and get them painted black. I'm all for mods being different from the norm, I say go for it! They would look sweet!!,,,,98

Do you need a high heat paint or anything special for wheels? I imagine they would be more exposed to chipping and brake heat and dust.

Cool

That's a good question! You'd probably need more than your average paint as far as durability. If you wanted the whole wheel black you could get them powdercoated I guess. Let me look around for some high heat paint sources. I bet House of Kolor, and some others have a product that would work just fine.

Wow, I searched around for quite a while, and didn't find anything. I even called POR-15 and asked about their engine enamels, no dice. I imagine you could use a single stage paint like an acrylic enamel, with decent results and durability. I have been out of the painting business for about 5 years now, and that may as well be an eternity as much as products change. I'm not sure if Acrylic Enamels are still legal to use. Good luck.,,,,98

Under 300 degrees is not hot enough to hurt the paint. We paint wheels and
clear coat them all the time without any problem. If you feel safer using
the High Heat, go for it . . .

This was the response I got from Valspar, House of color. They seem to think that normal car paint on wheels is okay?,,,,98
