WoW!! what a change! Tires even changed the color of your truck. Does this mean I have to stick with Goodyears if I want to keep my truck red?? What tire would give me a deep maroon color? or maybe that new millennium yellow?

JonF150supercab, those BFG M/T's will get louder as they were. I've owned them (in a different size) and I really liked the tires.

Just get true duals, straight pipes and the noise from the tires won't bother you at all.

any new pics?

Jonf150supercab:

Good looking truck.

Do you have any newer or recent pics of the 285/70/17 BFG's?

Maybe a profile shot, with both tires, w/ the shiny stuff on them, etc...? If so, would you mind to post them??

I am considering the same ones, and your current picture is kind of tough to get a feel for how they look...

I am not sure if it was the exposure or what, but the picture of the BFG's didn't seem to turn out...?

Thanks,
Ryan

Question Jonf150supercab

Looks great.
How does the 4.6L & the 3.55 handle the larger tires (on hills, the flat, highway, city, low speeds, high speeds, mileage, etc.)?
Did you have the computer recalibrated for the new size?
Do the front tires ever rub on anything when turning?

Jonf150supercab,
Really changes the look of your truck. Much more aggressive. If I were to go the off road look, thats the way to do it. Good job.

Torsion Bar

What did you have to adjust to fit that size of a tire? Sorry but accidently posted a thread instead of a reply. I am looking for a set of these for my 97' Lariat 4x4. I currently have Bigfoot a/t but need something more aggresive for the winter, at least that is what I am telling my wife! (Actually I tend to play in the MUD alot) Also any idea where I can find some. Thanks

Cool

hey haven't checked the site in a while the 4.6 still goes pretty good I didn't change anything or have the Speedo recalibrated. it is close enough the gas mileage went down a little but I don't mind the truck looks so much better it still pulls hills good it cruses on the highway at 70+ no problem and they seem to be wearing well for all the highway driving I do I will work on getting some new better picks up
