Stock tires instead of 37's for long trips?

Ive got a body lift right now and im planning to install a 4" suspension lift. With this combo ill be running 37" tires. I know its not good to drive long distances on this big of a tire because it can wear down components of the IFS. If i put my stock tires back on for about a 3 hour trip, will it hurt my truck? Ill have 265/70 tires with about 7"s of lift for the trip. Can i do that or should i just leave the big tires on?

Nikko,

Some people may think it looks funny, but you should also get better gas mileage.:cool:

I don't see how running the stock wheels and tires can hurt your truck.
