I have a 2000 xlt 4x4 and about to do a back to factory rebuild bushings links shocks etc. I want to install16 x 8 or 8.5 wide rim. Will a 305 fit without rubbing or cutting with a torsion screw level?

Soooo, two thoughts. With no lift, 305s will fit but you may have to trim the corners off the front valance. Not sure on that skinny wheel. Its minor trimming anyways and barely noticeable.

Second thought...an 8 wheel is toooo skinny for that 305. Im running the same on 10s and sure wouldnt want anything narrower.

According to Tire Rack, the correct rim width is 8 to 9.5" for 305-70-16 LT tires.
