Red face Lt295/60r20 VS lt305/55r20

Hi Guys,

First time posting and I've got a pretty specific question.

I just bought a new to me 2018 Lariat crew with 2.7 Eco. I've ordered some Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in 305/55R20's to go with 20" +1 Fuel Vapor wheels. Also doing a 2" level kit.

I'm wondering if I should switch to the 295/60r20's? I ask because I'm a little concerned with rock chips down the side of the truck. It looks like the 295's are a bit taller (half inch) and the 305's are a bit wide (half inch).

Would you guys be concerned at all with the 305s?

Thanks for the help!

No. I think you'll be OK.

And BTW, welcome.

The stock tire size with the 20" option is 275/55. Either one you are looking at may be a bit much. You will need a programmer to correct the speedo/odo and PCM even if they do fit well.
