Front end vibration - not rotors or balance

Wasn't sure whether to post here or in Suspension...

I have some vibration in the front of my 2008 60th Anniversary SCREW (4WD) during braking @~35-50 mph. 188k miles on the odo. Just replaced rotors, pads, and fluid 2 weeks ago on advice found here (and just for good measure), had tires/wheels rotated, balanced and torqued, and the problem is back. The inside shoulder of my Cooper Discoverer tires are uneven so I'm thinking front suspension components. Any suggestions on the next step?

If the tires are worn unevenly, that by itself can cause vibrations.

If you are thinking front suspension components, you have to get them checked. Go to an alignment shop. Are the shocks original?

Yes, time for a good suspension check. I have known sticking brakes to cause vibration but that is more rare.

Yeah, shocks are factory fresh, along with tie-rod ends, bushings, bearings, etc... I think I'll swap them out for good measure, then get an alignment.

Before you swap anything out, go to an alignment shop and get the front end inspected. No sense in changing anything out that's still good and they have the equipment to check everything easily.
