spongy brakes

spongy brakes

2014 raptor, just did brake pads, rotors and stainless steel lines. did a flush. bleed the whole system and not the pedal is spongy it slides on a hard stop any idea what might be the issue.

Keep on bleeding. Probably has some air in the lines still. If the master cylinder drained while you had the lines off, it will take a lot of bleeding to get all of the air out.

i bled the lines about 3 times i got pretty good pressure , with he key off the pedal gets rock hard. when i start it it feels good but a bit spongy, under hard stops it just slides and the abs does not kick in. I'm thinking i need to rebleed and cycle the abs pump with my scan tool

Yes, the ABS has to be cycled when you are bleeding.
