Need new brake pads
Hey guys,
I need some new brake pads on my 2014 F-150. So far I have always had the Ford dealership service my truck (oil change, tire rotation, etc - only $50 which is about what I would pay to do it myself anyways).
Not sure if I should have the dealership do this (I am sure I will pay a bit of a premium) or go to some brake shop.
At this point, not something I want to deal with myself (especially in this Arizona summer heat).
I don't mind paying the extra cash to have the Ford dealer do it and put OEM brakes (my guess is Motorcraft) on it.
What do you guys think? What can I expect to pay? Truck has about 42,000 miles on it.
Thanks guys.

How do you know it needs pads? If the pad is gone and it is metal to metal, you will need rotors too. A shop, dealer or otherwise will probably want to put new rotors on with the new pads. If the rotors aren't warped and are in good shape, new pads are all it needs and you can do it yourself as you said for about $50 or less.
