Donate54,
i've run several sets of these and have always considered them one of my favorite tires. i've run them all the way through 35's and have always gotten better than 40,000 out of them. very predictable on the road and not really that loud for a mud tire. good luck, rich. |
I've had my set of BFG MT's now for more than 34,000 miles and they probably have a good 5000 left. Very satisfied with the wear and performance.

thanks a lot for the info guys, i think you just convinced me!!!

Buddy of mine has 31's on his Exploder - great in the muck, but a bit loose in the wet. Snow, forget it. Mind you that probably isn't your main concern living in FLA.

What about mpg's? Are you guys seeing a big drop from AT types?
btw- I gotta say I love this F150online site. I was a Jeeper and loved the comraderie (sp). Seeing this with Ford is making me a real proud Ford owner! |
BFG just came out with the KM mud tire with a new compound in it. According to BFG they should last even longer. I have heard of people getting 50K from the muds and 70K from the ATs. That was the old style ones too, no the new KM and KOs
