Quietest "aggressive look" tires?

I love the look of Nitto Trail Grapplers, but I bet those things HOWL on the roads.

My truck is on-road only 95% of the time, off-roading consists of when it snows or if I go down a muddy/dirt road hunting.

That being said, what are good "road" tires with aggressive looking tread, Nitto Terra Grappler G2?? Anything else I should be looking at?

Plan to run them on 20" wheels, either the stock size or upgrade to new wheels with 295/60R20.

Thanks.

Well its a matter of person's reference, some people are used to loud things, some are not and even with slight noise is very noticeable to them. For the choices, I would choose first between Trail Grappler and G2 as hottest out there, next by BFG KO
Nitto is owned by Toyo so sure they are good contenders, check and review some Toyo Tires like open country MT and O c A/T II are aggressive looking too

The Nitto Trail Grappler and Toyo MT are the two quietest mud tires. If that is too loud for you, you should go with an all terrain tire. The Nitto Terra Grappler and Toyo AT would be your best choices.

^Second that!

I have trail grapplers, and they are not very loud until you hit about 40-50. When I first got them I was going WTF but after a week I didn't even notice. Now it is just normal.

another good option that sounds llike what you would like is the bfg rugged terrain it is a tire that is exactly that designed for the off road look but mainly drove on road

Thanks for the info.

I didn't know about the BFG rugged terrain, definitely on the list. My truck just needs to look cool!

Cooper Zeon LTZ......they're a hybrid street tire with an aggressive tread pattern.

Lots of great review of them on this site.

Check my album....I've got them on my Harley.

Nitto Terra Grappler G2 is pretty quiet, that's what I use too. Been reading reviews abt it, though it may not be the best off-road tire, it apparently has high rating for quiet rides.
