What psi for LT load C on an F150?
So I got a set of cooper discoverer at3s in LT265/70/17 load c (50 psi). The tire shop set them at 42 psi and they feel soooo much better than the P metric tires I was running at 40 psi.
That said, what's the best psi to run this load C tires to get the best tread wear and life out of them? The most weight that's ever in my bed is about 300 - 400 lbs but it's usually just one trip a month.
Should I be running these tires closer to 50 psi? Or will 42 be ok?
My p metric tires at 40 psi had 55k miles on them and still could have have a couple more years of life. I want to get the same lifespan with the new tires. Thanks!
