Goodyear wrangler silent armor discontinued?

Was going to order a set and was told these have bee replaced with the wrangler all terrain adventure.

Any other good AT tires in a LT245/75/17 or LT265/70/17 with a deep 16/32 to 18/32 tread?

Bf Goodrich All Terrain TAs. Have also heard good things about the Cooper Discovery AT 3s.

Having had both the Goodyear SA and the BFGs, I would always take the BFGs.

Have 35,000 on the Silent Armors and they're spent.. Well they, all wore evenly @ about 1/8" currently. Never had a leak of any sort, - air pressure checks where always good.

It's just, I had a nice set of Michelin's in the past (same truck) that seamed to last twice that, or close to it anyway.

Oh yea, - At the time I purchased those they were #1 @ Tirerack, - followed by Duelers. It was tossup, I could have went either way. The SA's had a nicer look to them IMO.

Wow, that's not good. I have at least 50k on my firestone destination AT's and they could easily last a year but I'm going to replace them anyway.

I'm liking everything about the cooper discoverer at3. The LT245/75/17 load E tires are only $160 each. They have great reviews, everyone says they're very quiet, great in snow and their tread is 17/32 which should last a while. I think I may have to go with them.

You would probably hate LR "E" tires, they ride terrible with no load.

BFG ATs are a great AT tire, last until you are sick of looking at them, and then keep going...

Heard good things about the Toyos as well...
