F250 6" Lift with 22" Fuel Hostage wheels

Got a quote today on installing a 6" pro com lift kit, shocks, stabilizer & 22" fuel hostage wheels. I need some advice on what the cost of this should be. Any pics of an F250 with 22" please send

i think what he was trying to say was, is this really going to cost 7 grand?

jdeacon 08-29-2013 11:25 PM

1700-2k for lift, 3700 for 22x14 wheels and nitto trails, then an easy 5 hours labor at 100 an hour, plus 7-10% for tax, ya id say so. and that was just a quick google search. not to mention how many results when you google f250 22s. i just dont understand why people spend the time to join the forum and ask the question, when they could google things and have it take half the time

No, what I mean't to say was I had a quote for a lift kit from one place for $600 and from you for $2500 and was trying to determine why the difference. I have no idea about what is needed for my custom application - thus the inquiry.

You just lost a sale!!

i think that place quoted you a level with instal. hop on google and type in ford f250 6 inch lift plus your year and you will get an idea on price. then type in fuel hostage 22. thats a good way to check prices. but if you can make out under 6k i would be very impressed

What's custom about your application? Seems like a basic lift install, tire mount and balance, and alignment to me. If they said 600 then that's labor only and maybe a leveling kit if your lucky. I'd ballpark parts and labor being 2-2500 without me actually googling the cost of a pro-comp 6" kit. I'd take whatever the cost of the kit is, and 300 or more for labor, another 80 or so for an alignment, and another 1-150 for mounting and balancing your wheels.

Prices vary greatly, but from what I've read on this and other forums an average installation and alignment will usually be in the $500 to $1000 range. As far as parts, you can usually get a good idea by going to 4Wheel Parts website. They carry a ton of stuff and their prices are usually decent. If someone charges more than 4Wheel Parts, they are high. If they charge less than 4Wheel Parts, you're getting a good deal.
