33 or 35x12.50 on 17x7.5

I think I have come to the conclusion that if I want my 2wd to be higher, I'll have to add a 3" body lift to my 2" level kit. But if and when I do that, my 265 70 17's will look too small. I was wondering if 33 or 35x12.50 will fit on the wheel (17x7.5) and if so should go with 33 or 35. I'm thinking 35 cause I know if I get 33 I'll wanna go bigger. Lol

You can't fit a 35 with only 5" of lift. You need a bare minimum of 6" with some decent trimming and a tire that isn't too aggressive to fit a 35" tire. So I'd stick with a 33" tire, and a 12.50" wide tire may be a little much for a 7.5" wide wheel even.

So even though my bumper and bumper valence is different from the 99-03 the 35's won't fit? Cause it seems like a gotta ton of room with 3 more inches.

I had to do some trimming and dealt with rubbing when I had 315/75r16's (34.6x12.2ish) on my truck with 6.5", and my truck has no valence on it so that isn't including trimming that either.

It'll look like you'll have a lot of room, but the frame will get you everytime at close to full lock and the inner sheet metal will get you too.

And you would have the basically the same clearance even if you had the 99-03 style bumper.

I personally wouldn't put any 12.5" tire on a 7.5" wheel.
