Is a level / lift kit required

I have a 2010 F150 xlt 4x4 supercab with the 5.4l. I am thinking of taking advantage of tax free weekend in MA and was looking at Nitto Trail Grapplers. My rims are stock 18in. Would need to go up in size and was looking at the 275/70r18 if needed would go with the 295/70r18. I don't want to do a lift or level kit. I am not sure if either one would work with the stock setup. Any suggestions?

275/70/18 would be fine. If anything you'd rub just a tad. I think those 295's would rub a good bit. Why don't you want to do a level though?

In MA one weekend a year they have it so you can buy most things with out having to pay sales tax. I have looked at some kits but have not found one that would give me a small lift f/r I do tow a camper and enclosed 6x12 trailer and don't want to have the front end pointing up when towing. As it is now with either trailer on my truck I am between normal ride to almost level.

We have tax free weekend in Texas too, you do not Deacon?

Ahh gotcha. You could raise the front and rear both equally, like I did. I put a 2" level and a 2" block on cause I'm 2wd and didn't have a block, you'd just need a bigger one. Or you could do an add-a-leaf or airbags for more stability. Not trying to spend your money for ya though! Haha

no tax free weekend here.

mjwmb107 just put the tires on. I doubt youll rub. and if you do, alls it will take is a small amount of trimming or a 1 inch level and youll still have factory rake

Texas' is 8.125%, but California makes every state's look good! Occasionally it's cheaper to have my grandparents buy stuff and then ship it down haha. Both of you are pretty close to a tax-free state, lucky!

I think Delaware may be the best state to avoid taxes!

State of TN sales tax is 9.75%; state of MS where I live (and shop) is 7%.
There are annual tax free weekends in both TN and MS however, I thought it was strictly for school supplies and uniforms with a cap at $1,000 possibly. You can buy tires during your annual tax free weekend? (assuming it is a back to school related benefit).
