Replacing Pads/Rotors

Looking to do the brakes on my Lariat.

What is the preferred rotor/pad combo for the F-150?

I use ceramic pads and brakeperformance.com slotted and dimpled rotors in the front and slotted in the back

I had a lot of issues of warping rotors before I got them and haven't had a problem since!

I use Wagner ThermoQuiet pads and am currently still using stock rotors. Probably just going to go with OEM replacements when I change the rotors, but at 93k mine are still in good condition.

I have 60k on the truck and a slight plusation in the front when braking.
The truck is used but was a one-owner. I drive in beltway traffic alot here in DC and need to stop on 1/2 a dime at times...

Thanks for the info

Than you sir are a perfect candidate for ceramics and Slotted and Dimpled brakes .......they are pretty cheap too but very good quality

I also just put a front set on the GFs Suzuki SUV she was having a lot of warping issues none now and it stops so darn quick!

If I was in your situation, if there was enough material on your discs, I would first have them turned, and then replace the pads with ceramics. I used Posi-Quiets myself. Then bed in the new pads per the manufacters specifications. This should fix any pulsations, and be most cost efficient.
