rub or no rub? that is the question.
 

I have a 98 f250 light duty 2wd 3/4 ton. Has the coil spring setup up front, leafs out back(naturally). I'm wanting 285/75/16s but i hear they rub from some, and others say they Don't. I'm stock 3/4 ton ride height which sits a bit higher than other 2wd but not quite as high as a 4x4. Any answers appreciated

Are you going to be using stock wheels or aftermarket ones? And what kind of tire do you plan to run? a/t, m/t, etc tire.

Stock wheel, a/t tire

It's a tight fit, but they will work. I'd add a set of 2 inch Daystar coilspring spacers so the tires won't look so stuffed.

link to a pic of my truck with the 305/55. im not opposed to 275 width, but the 65 series seems like it would rub in the same place as these. it appears to be on the upper contol arm.
