Tire size for my 2011 F150 eco

The 70 series would create more drag. Other than that no real difference. I just installed Hankooks on mine and really like them. They are quiet and feel stronger than the Michelins I wore out in 13,000 miles. The Hankooks have a wear rating of 700, more than any other tire in the class I looked at. They are the Dynapro HT RH112 series. They also have DEEP treads.

What do you mean by more drag? will I get worse fuel mileage. I was looking at the Hankook Dynapro HT and will be getting them in one of the two tire sizes above. I just wanted to change the appearance slightly but if its going to hurt my performance then I wont do it. I will still with the stock size if its a better match.

Yes, the 70 series is a bit wider. Maybe you will notice, maybe you won't. If you are looking for a heavier duty tire, opt for the E-series for more weight.
Otherwise use the factory issue size........

Hummm... the first number is how wide the tire is in centimeters.. 275 is wider than 265...
The second number is the aspect ratio of how tall the sidewall is in relation to the width.. (65% 70%)
The third number is the wheel diameter.
So a 275/65/18 is going to be a bit wider with a little shorter sidewall.
The 265/70/18 is going to be a bit narrower with a little taller sidewall.
But overall, they will be about the same overall height..
IMO, either size is not really going to make any dramatic difference in looks or performance..
Now, if you got a 285/70 or a 305/65 size tire, that would be an obvious size change, but those will also make it so your ODO/SPEEDO will be off until you recal the computer for that size tire...
Good luck!
