22" Harley Davidson F150 Wheels, what psi?
I am running 22" harley davidson f150 (2010) edition wheels on my ford expedition, does anyone know what the psi would be on the f150 for the 22", i don't tow or anything, just a daily driver, and i dont know if going with the recommended pressure for my 18" wheels is enough

just to clarify, i have a ford 2011 expedition, it is a daily driver, i do not tow, the heaviest load my ford sees is me + 4 passengers. guessing my 35 psi right now is too under inflated.

For your Expy, what is the GVWR (max weight) and GAWR (max weight on each axle). That info should be on the door sticker. That will give you a better idea on what pressure is needed. You need to be able to support that weight.

That 35 depend upon the tires. Standard load P series tires at 35 give you their full weight carrying ability (minus 10% for being on a truck), even though their max is 44. The extra pressure is to help with sidewall stability when carrying heavier loads.

would it be safe to assume that what my 18" does at 35psi, my 22" tires require 41 psi to work the same? Very new to this and never even realized things like load ratings before.

Thanks, i do realize that my previous 18" tires are SL, and my current 22" tires are XL, seems that SL is rated at 35 psi, while XL is rated at 41 psi

That means you could go a few lbs lower, about 37-38. That should give you up to 2000lbs per tire and better sidewall stability.
Sorry about the original numbers, I am used to regular P series which always has to be at least 35 on these trucks or LT tires where you really need to calculate it out and the max weight is at max pressure.
