Tire/Rim Dilema

Heres my problem. I have 18inch wheel right now but with 17inches of lift im going to be throwing some 40 or 41s on there. But i can not find any good tires in the rim 18 area. I can only find good tires in the 20s or 17s and of course they are going to be more exspensive in 20s but do you guys think i should go with 17s or 20s ? Problem im finding with 17inch Rims right now too is nothing is wider than 9inches but im still looking. If you know anyone that is selling either of these two rims in these specs please let me know.

Rims im looking at and i dont know much about offset so need some help on knowing how much these would stick out with 13.5-15.5 wide tires.

No one has any adivce on what i should do here? Stick with 18s? Or go with 17s or 20s with a 40inch tire anywhere from 13.5-15.5 wide? What has more options?

Right now im only finding procomps in size 40x13.5 Rim 18. Im not finding any good looking tires out there. NO one is ever selling used tires for Rim 18 inch in 40inch tires. Its always 17s or 20s that im finding right now.

EDIT: Sorry i am finding more tires out there in the 18inch Rims but i dont know how wide these rims are. I think they are only 9inches wide because they are the american racing rims. Something else i would need to clarify as well. But would like some more opinions here

I'd go with 20s but I don't like small rims.. lol.. 22s and 40s would look sick IMO but most people don't like that look.

I think 20's will be your best bet. like you said, they don't make 17's and 18's any wider than 9". With 20's atleast you could run 12 wide wheels, which you would need with a 14.50-15.50

Ok so i should stay in the -24 to -44mm range for rims? Also for the rockstars they are like -12mm is that too little of an offset or what? Only reason i might get monsters is becasue they are cheap. Plus they still look good and think black rims would look better on my truck. I dont want to pay over 275 per rim as it is. It would be awesome if someone was selling a set of 20x10 in those offsets so i dont have to spend as much
