Wheels on order...
These are the 7/150 I chose. They were the least expensive too...I think they will look awesome with some LT305/70/R16 General Grabber AT2's wrapped around them...
Ordered from Elite Wheels.com
Pacer Wheels 7/150
I will update when I get them with what I really get when they arrive with condition and quality.

No badge indicating, but I have 7 lugs, a larger rear end, a larger transmission, tow package with stronger suspension, bigger radiator, etc..
Basically, it's a f-250 Light Duty.
I didn't even realize what I had until it was pointed out to me! I just wanted a true 8' longbed with the Ecoboost...
Turns out, I got so much more! Just wish I could find some cool after market wheels!!

I guess I don't understand the difference!?
It actually doesn't make any difference one way or another, I got the truck I wanted and I can tow more then the average 1/2 ton, but what sucks is, not being able to have a better selection of wheels to put on.

They haven't been called a 7700 since 2003. 7700 was the GVWR of the beefed up 99-03 F-150 that replaced the F-250LD. With the new (heavier) 2004 body style, it was just called HD Payload package and it has a 8200 GVWR through 2014. Starting in 2015 with the aluminum body, the HD Payload package has a 7850 GVWR.

Question about 17" 7x150 rims
This thread is ancient history but I'm curious if anyone knows off hand if the 17" 7x150 alloy rims from the 2012-14(?) F150 HD can be fit onto a 97-03 F150 7700 without clearance issues. As far as I can tell the bolt pattern and the center bore is the same at 87.1 but I'm not very familiar with how rims are measured, what needs to be taken into consideration for fitment, etc.
I have an 02 7700 with stock 16" 7x150 steel rims with a chrome overlay and someone is selling a set of 17" 7x150 alloy rims with tires from their 2014 near my area. I would love to nab them if they'll fit as the steel ones are getting tired.
Could anyone offer some guidance?
I included a picture because it's my first half-ton truck and I love it and it's beautiful.
