Put 2 new Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my 05 Screw KR. I like them so far...obviously can't really give a fair evaluation after a few days. Maybe after a year or so...however, here is my question because I have never heard this before.

The shop that installed these for me did NOT do an alignment. Shop owner said to let them sit in for 2 weeks or so & then do the alignment. Is there truth to this & if so, what is the purpose of letting them "set in for 2 weeks"??

BTW, I only could put 2 on now as my work computer crashed so the budget was a little tight this month...remaining 2 get put on next month.
