want to run 37's on 02 screw have ?'s
I want to run 37's on my 02 screw 4x4. I have a couple of questions:
I know that I will need a lift kit, I was going to use a RCD or a Fabtech and couple that w/ a 3" PA body lift. I am planning on 4.88 gears as well. 1. Will the stock unit bearing hubs be up to the stress of a 37? I plan on 37x12.50x17 BFG AT KO or KM2'S havent decided on the muds or all terrains yet 2. I plan on a 17x9 wheel AR atx artillary in chrome or MT classic 2s in the same size 3. I know a steering stabilizer would be a good idea which one? I have already done my balljoints w/ the MOOG greasable uppers/lowers |
You are on the right track. Personally, I'd try to find a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of BS. Also, most of the steering stabilizers are the same. Personally, I have a Pro Comp.

i agree with wandell, i would go with the fabtech for a little extra clearance.

why a 17x10 wheel? is that b/c the tire I want to run is 12.50 wide or is it a looks thing? I have decided on tires I will be going w/ the BFG KM2s!!!!!!!! White letters OUT!:rocker: I'm kinda old school with the letters thing!!

i think it looks better, makes the tires wider.

I agree. On our trucks a 10 inch wide wheel just looks better in my opinion.

just throwing this out there, with 9" of lift if you crank a bit you can fit 38's....

Just know that the km2's are a skinnier tire. I think it makes them look smaller. I mean its a really great tire and i have them on my stock wheel and they don't wear wierd at all. I was thinking that if maybe one of these days putting a BL on mine and throwing 37's on it but we'll see if gas keeps going up i'll be selling it. Altho i like the KM2's alot if i had it to do over i might go with Toyo MT's. The km2's are wearing pretty good though.

THe hankooks brushed the lower valence, while the km2's have a ton of room bc its so much narrower http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/u...10120-1502.jpg |
