Tire Advice for Fuel Octane's/Hostage's

I'm selling my Xd Diesels and 35" Toyo Muds Monday, getting a stock set of chrome 17s to ride around for a couple weeks and need advice as to what tires I should get.

I'm getting 20x9 with +14 offset and 5.50" backspacing

I don't want to run into issues with rubbing because my 35x12.50x18 toyos and diesels already do enough of that with my leveling kit.

Im considering street tires for a change or going to an all terrain/mud terrain again. But keep in mind im trying to keep costs low here, not cheap, but low as to have an effective setup.

I've been looking at the General Grabber UHP's in 295/50/20 it's a lot of meat for the streets but I want wide tires, just gotta decide on more or less sidewall rubber and street/off-road. The toyos are ok in the rain but with some of the streets flooding i did manage to hydroplane going down an on ramp which makes a decently sharp right hand turn, good thing it was 3 lanes wide and no one was next to me

If you're going with the 20x9 you won't be able to get the deep versions since they are 12"+ wide wheels.

The General Grabber UHP's are a really nice tire. They have a nice ride to them and won't break the bank.

All of those wheels look great, but they scream "offroad". I'd go with a 305/55-20 (33x12.50) all terrian tire.

I agree. You can find good deals on the Terra Grappler, the Toyo AT (basically the same tire) and the Cooper Zeon LTZ.

So I shouldn't have any problems running the 20x9 deep dish rims on a leveling it right?

I figured problems would start around the 34-35" tire area. I want to get close to a 35 if im running off road tires/all terrains without rubbing again

Can anyone tell me what size tire would I start running into problems with the 20x12 rim on a leveling kit?

If I cannot get a set of deep dish octane's I'll see if I can get the hostages in a size that wont cause too much trouble rubbing otherwise ill have to rethink my rim choices

I think you would just be asking for fitment problems with 12 inch wide wheels.
