WILL 35X12.50R20's FIT???? PLEASE HELP
 

Hey everyone, as you can see Im new to this site. I just bought my first ford and Im ready to get it lookin right. I have a question about tire size that Im sure has been answered before. I have an 06 f150 screw king ranch currently with 275x65r20 pirelli ATRs. The wheel specs are 20x8.5. I have an AutoSpring 2" leveling kit installed. Can I fit 35x12.50r20 tires on this setup. Any advice will be very much appreciated. I dont go off road very much. I would like personal tire suggestions too.

If it's a four wheel drive you shouldn't have any problems as long as you stick with an all terrain tire. If you want a mud tire, the aggressive lugs will probably rub on the inside.

Are they the OEM 20x8.5 wheels? If they are, the answer is that it depends on the tire like Dog'em stated. The issue is the OEM wheels 6.5 inches of backspacing. This pulls the tire in enought that it can cause some 12.50 inch wide tires with aggressive sidewalls (like a lot of MT's) to touch the upper control arm/ball joint. If you want a 35 inch tire, I'd suggest the 285/65-20 BFG AT KO which is basically a 35x11.50-20 tire.

Thanks wandell. ive been doing some research and found the 275/65r20 is 34.1''h 10.8''w and are better priced(over$200cheaper) than the 285/65r20 which is only 1/2'' taller and width isnt a big deal to me. I am goin with the BFG AT. theyre really good tires and hold up very well. thanks again.

Post up some pics of those tires when u ge them installed. Not too many have that size. Thanks!
