New rotors/pads good price?

So it's time for new rotors and pads and after searching through threads I think I've decided on the Powerslot rotors and the Hawk HPS pads for my 2000 4wd F150.

The cheapest I've found them online is $576.70 for everything at Autoanything.com. They also offer 10% off your first purchase so I would be looking at $520 shipped.

Anyone know of anyplace cheaper to get these or recommend another brand, this seems like a lot but I've never replaced my brakes before so maybe not?

I JUST ordered these and seems like a good deal to me. I ordered the Slotted and Drilled with black coating because it looks sexy. They have a lifetime warranty and two year warpage (SP?) I am not really worred about cracking though.

Thanks guys. I just came across another site after searching through more threads and may have found better pricing.

I've read some good reviews about Centric rotors on here and that Centric now owns Powerslot. In another thread someone had purchased Centric's from rockauto.com. After searching for my application on their site it looks like they may be selling the Powerslot rotors under the Centric name but for much cheaper?

The Powerslot part number matches the Centric Part number on rockauto.com exactly but the prices are much less. AutoAnything sells a Powerslot slotted rotor #126.65057SL for $91.95. Rockauto sells Centric High Performance - Slotted Rotor #12665057SL for $71.79. The difference is about $20 on each one.

Can anybody confirm or disprove these are the same? Any comments on Rockauto.com?

Back on topic, has anyone heard of these two products being the same? I only found one review of the Centric's on the boards and it was positive so even if they aren't I think I might go that route anyway.

I just bought these...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

$225 shipped for ceramic pads and drilled and slotted rotors. That's as cheap as OEM rotors and pads. I got them in today, three days after I ordered them. Putting them on this weekend, I'll update when I get em broke in and let you guys know how they work out.

Quick Reply: New rotors/pads good price?
