Attn MOD
I was just on that Rims N Tires site 2 days ago and went there today and the page was down/missing. So then I went to their home page to find their link to the Comparer and followed it. I guess the new URL is: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp and not: (Broken) http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp |
Adjusting Speedometer per new tire size
Is there a way to adjust the speedometer?
I have 35x12,5 R17 on my 2001 F150, I think this truck came with 295x10 R17 from the factory. |
It requires a change in the PCM using a programmer or at the dealer. The dealers sometimes do not have the software for the larger tire sizes. It's a good time to invest in a programmer which you probably need anyway with the taller tires.
