|
I have the Trail Grapplers, which I love, but personally Im not a big fan of the Mud Grapplers (personal preference)
|
How are your trail grapplers wearing?

cooper discoverer stt's

Both are excellent tires. However, the Mud Grapplers are extremely loud and wear quickly.

the noise doesnt bother me at all. im 18 haha. im the guy who thinks that the howl is cool. but i would like some decent wear out of them. i drive hard on my stockers but when i have to drop a grand or more ill drive a little more easily on them!

Thats what i always think....driving easily usually lasts about 2 wks. lol MTZ's!

I have KM2's and think I will try trail grapps if their mileage is good after the KM2's wear out, which will be a while. Tire hum gets old.

My trail grapplers are nice and quiet i was expecting a lot louder honestly. On the highway going about 65-70 I dont hear much but a light hum very unnoticable unless you are trying to hear it. My friend said he didnt notice a difference from when he road with me last (not a truck guy)

My KM2s are pretty quiet for mud terrains. Have you been keeping an eye on your tire pressure?

From the different MT's i have ran I have never ran more than 30 PSI on them. This equals up to the best wear charateristics. My 46's I ran at 25 PSI
I would think higher pressure would wear better as long as your tire isn't ballooning out in the center. Low pressure allows the tire to deflect more which causes more slip (and wear). |
