Tire pressure

What tire pressure do you recommend for stock size 265-70R17? I have BFG ATs on factory FX4 rims. The door jam says 30PSI front and 35PSI rear. I just adjusted all 4 tires to 35 PSI and it looks and feels(when turning) that I need more air pressure in the fronts. I want to keep my tires as long as possible but also would like to get the best MPGS. What do ya'll suggest? 37-38 psi all the way around??---DirtySCREW

What load range is the tire. 30-35 is only good for a p series tire. Is yours a P series, and if it is what is the max pressure. Or is it a LT LR C, D, or E and what is the max pressure. Size is pretty much meaningless.

I dont know the load right off hand...I do remember see that 50 PSI was the max recommended pressure--------DirtySCREW

Sounds like either a LR C or a LR D. Either way, run them at 38-40 on your 03. An 04 up would be slightly higher. That 50 is not the max recommended, but the max pressure. Do not go over that cold at any time.
