295x70x17 Toyo MT's?
Anybody running this size and have any pics? Getting ready to pull the trigger on a set.
|
I'm running 285-75-17 Toyo MT's on 17" rims with 4.5" of BS. They don't stick out to bad and don't have any rubbing issues.

I was looking at the 285x75's also, those are a little taller but not as wide as the 295x70's. I have some 17x9 wheels I'm going to put them on. How you like your's so far? Your truck look's great with them on.

Those 34x11.50 R17s Open Country M/Ts are great... No rubbing or trimming required... I'm running AMP Bitterroot 18x8.5 inch wheels with a BS of 4.53 inches...

A friend of mine has a dodge 2500 with the 295 70 17's and the look really good in that size. I'd go them, and the 285 75 18's may be alittle big for mpg/stock power. I know not much a difference in size but hey do it right the first time, lol!
The toyos run very heavy so think about that also. I loved mine, but hated the mpg and power loss so i sold them. mine were 285 75 18's though. |
I like them a lot. And since they are 17' instead of 18", and I run them on a forged rather than cast wheel it makes them even lighter and stronger.

I am running that tire on my American Racing Crater Teflon 17x9 wheels with 5" BS, 0 Offset. It has a 2.5" Autospring leveling kit. I install tires for a living and swear by these. They wear and ride really well for how aggressive they are. They are spendy and heavy, and I did lose some gas mileage when going from the stock tires. Well worth it, though.

They look great Wakeboarder, I plan to put the tires on the same wheel's but chrome. I've been having them for 4 yrs. but have been in my garage for about 2yrs.https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...17-bfg-ats.jpg

The more I see these 285x75 and 295x70's convince me that these 34" or close to it tires may be the best size for a leveled 4x4. Great looking truck's guy's!

These tires are a 33.5x12 and seem to fit great on these wheel's.

Keep them rotated often, and they should give you a good amount of life. I have found that every 2500-3000 is pretty good to prevent any cupping. I know plenty of people that have gotten 40k+ from these tires which is incredible for such an aggressive tire.
