Think these will fit?

So after being picky and looking for rims I found a set. I have the camburg upper A arm on my F-150 so I am limited to 5 inches of backspacing at most. I also am about 3 inches leveled in the front with a new coilover. I am a 4x4 also. I found some American Racing ATX Thug Black rims that are Offset: 00mm
Backspacing: 4.96". They are a 18x9. I was thinking about getting then a 305 65 18 BFG All Terrain on there also. Think that would work with no rubbing or trimming at all? I also was thinking about going with a 17x8 with a 315 70 17. Any info would be helpful! Thanks bros.

I have 17x8.5 4.75 BS and 315 70 17s on the exact same set up as you and had to trim both the front and back of the fenders. I don't know if that's any help or not.

Did you still get rubbing with it trimmed? How much trimming did you do? Also how is the clearance in between the upper control arm and the tire?

Also I am a 4x4 so I think that might be a bit better.

The 305/65-18's would be about an inch shorter than the 315/70-17's. Basically a 35x12.50 vs a 34x12.50.

Thanks wandell. You helped me last time in getting the right tire for my truck. New project now. Do you think I would get rubbing on my truck with a 315 70 17 on a 17x8? 5 inches of backspacing. I appreciate your help always! Thanks again.

Yes, I think that would give you some minor rubbing. Too give you an idea, PawPaw mounted that size on 17x9's with 5 inches of BS and had rubbing. He switched to 17x8's with 5.5 inches of BS and doesn't have any rubbing.

I cant run a 5.5 backspacing rim. Max I can go is 5 because I have a different a- arm on there. Ill run a 18x9 with a 306 65 18. Im sure you really cant even tell an inch off. Thanks wandell
