MTZ's or Pro-Comp XMT's?
 

Im gonna be needing new tires pretty soon and i cant decide between the MTZ or Pro-Comp XMt's... any preferences?

No experience personally with the MTZ's, but I'm currently running 35" XMT's with my leveling kit and love them. Not too noisy, really agressive tread pattern, and works great off and on road. I do a lot of off road driving with my job in the winter and early spring and these performed with flying colors all throughout the travel season for me.

i say get the mickey thompsons claws, they look badass, thats gonna be my next tire

TJO5FX4..... how many miles do you have on your XMT's? they holding up pretty well?

I had mtz's on my old truck and loved them. They are great off road and good on the road for a mud tire and they look great on top of that I have nothing but great things to say about them.

Only have about 5k miles on them so far. Just about ready to take it back in and have em rotated, but they are holding up fantastic so far. I have talked to a few people who have had these on other trucks and Fords too, and most get about 35-40k miles on them which is pretty good for a mud tire. If I can get 35 or more, I'll be happy.

Both tires are getting good reviews. Both are also manufactured by Cooper Tire so quality should be similar.
