Toyo's and MTZ Questions
 

I bought 17x9" cragar soft 8's and now im looking for tires.......Ive heard mixed things about toyo's open country m/t's and mickey t mtz's. I plan to run 37" tires on these rims but the question is what tire and how wide. MTZ's only run a 12.5" max on their 37" tires but Toyos run up to a 13.5.. I really like the wide look of 13.5" wide tires but are they too wide for my 9" wide rims? If someone could explain this to me it would really help me decide which tires to run.

i've got the toyos and so far they're great. my 38x13.50 are on a 9 inch rim so you're good on that.

9 inch wide rim is the narrowest rim i would put a 13.50 wide on. if it was me, i'd go with the toyo's. i have nothing but good things about them. if i keep my truck, those will be my next tires for sure.

thanks guys, the toyos looked like a great choice and i like the look of the wider tire. 4wheelparts is having a sale right now 10% off mickey t's and 5% off toyos, they're about the same price but i think ill go for the toyos...
