Toyo MT's on 2008 FX4?
I'm new to the sight and I have a 2008 FX4 SCREW. will these rims and tires fit with no rubbing?
Wheel Specifications: Finish: Black Machined Alloy Size: 18x9 Offset: -12mm Backspacing: 4.53" Tire Specifications: Toyo MT Height: 33" Size: 18x9 Width: 12.50" Load: E-10ply |
No they won't if you are stock. You need a minimum of a 2.5" leveling kit. Even then with MT tires and those offsets on your wheels, you will have rubbing issues. Now, if you go with at least a 4" suspension lift, then you are golden!

if you went with a narrower wheel and a back space in the range of 5.25 or 5.5, you might be ok. I'd just go with the 2.5" AS front level spacer and wheels with the size close to 8" wide and the backspace aforementioned and you'd prolly be good to go with minimal rubbing, im sure someone on here has a similar set-up with those tires on this site

If you add a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit they will fit. You may have to do some minor trimming but I doubt it.

So with a 2.5 leveling kit these tires and wheels will fit? Are these good tires for mud and highway driving? Thanks for the information...

I hear nothing but good things on TOYOS......i think dunlop makes them

The Toyo MT's are an excellent tire. They are probably the quietest MT available. Also, I don't think they are associated with Dunlop.

I am thinking about putting the 33's MT's on my 20 inch KR wheel but worried about the rubbing. I would appreciate you letting us know if you do it and the outcome.
