will these fx2's fit my base model XL 2wd v6? newbie here
 
double post sorry, wrong section earlier :D

these are the fx2's 18" with 265/60/18 bf tires, tire is fine (stock is 235/70/17)

all the dealers put them on ebay for cheap w/tires, WILL THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR BE OK? ORDERING IF THEY FIT IN THE FIRST PLACE AND TPMS IS STILL INSTALLED ON THEM

i dont even know how the sensor signal goes back to the computer? been outta motorsports stuff for a few years

is it a radio signal in each wheel?

actually the tire pressure light comes on when you key it forward, but my window sticker says nothing about it

You have 2 choices when it comes to the TPMS. The first is to move the sensors from your old wheels to the new. The other is to reprogram your system for the new sensors. That may require a trip to the dealer. I believe they need the serial numbers from the new sensors to program into the system in the truck. There is a third option, ignore the light.

thanks, im itchin to get these w/t wheels off my MX hauler

ill inquire about the reprogramming cost right away
