F250 vs F150

well i got a f150 right now with 37"s and 20's. i found a f250 for cheap from a freind and was thinking about tradeing my truck to him and putting a 8" fabtech lift with 4.0 dirtlogics and 38/ 15.50/R20 baja claws with some 20" dont know which ones yet. but which one would i get better mileage with my f150 or the f250?

u mean with both lifted?? well id say the f150 but unless you have the 5.4 f150 and the 4.6 f250 then the f150 wins that battle...id keep the 150 if it were me...cuz u already have a lifted truck..why spend more money to lift another one..unless its the v10 f250 then I would trade cuz id love to have a v10

yeah, more specs on the F250, but i don't think there is such a thing as a 4.6 F250??? Also, what tires do you have on your 150??? If it is a diesel then there is not much that you can do to lower its mpg, though you might be looking at about 14 mpg stock.

F250 doesn't come in a 4.6 I used to work at the Superduty plant!

only trade if its the v10 or the new 6.4 TWIN TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rocker:

Yeah, you really ned to give us some more info on both trucks.

i would think if you drive lifted trucks and want a f250 fuel shouldnt even be a concern.especially when diesel is getting close 5 dollars a gallon.if you want the bigger truck i say get the 250.i dont think in the end the mileage will be much different from lifted 150 to lifted 250.someone else said it that the diesel doesnt really sink in fuel mileage anyway with mods or not.

is the f150 a 4.6L or a 5.4L?

Ding ding ding.

Are you seriously even asking the question? They both will be horrible and retarded on gas mileage.

F250's come with nothing smaller than the 5.4L

4.0 DL are retarded on a 8" lift, 2.5 is more than enough. Unless of course you just want larger ones to say you have them.

when your talking about lifts and wheel sizes like this...doesnt matter your gas mileage is gonna suck no matter what u get. im getting 15 mpg highway on my stock 5.4 superduty.

Wow, you should feel lucky to be getting 15:beers: What year is it? My dad's 04 (16 valve) gets about 12 and about 9.5 towing:(
