Tire Pressure BFG's
 

For those with BFG AT what are you running your tire pressure at? I just had mine installed 305/65/17 and the tire shop put 40psi. Is that too high?

i would not go any lower then that. 40psi is pretty much a perfect all around pressure for a 1/2 ton unless the tire is a standard load rating with a max of 35. your tires are a load range E so 40 psi is the lowest i would go.

If they have a max of 80, I would run them at 50. 40 is low for anything except an empty truck.

the max is 65 on the larger E rated tires because of the air volume.
