ATZ's or Extreme AT's?
So I am Debating on getting a Small loan to Give the Truck a Makeover, Which Will include 4.56 Gears, 38" Tires, New 20's, 3" BL, and a 2.5" AAL.
After Having the Truck lifted for about 6 Months, And Seeing how much I actually take the thing off Road, I think im in to market for some Milder tires. I have Narrowed it down to the MT ATZ's or the Pro Comp Extreme A/T, both in a 38/14.50/20 ATZ: http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/i...s/baja_atz.jpg Extreme AT: http://www.jeepfan.com/revpost/data/22/xtremeat.gif |
just for looks i like the MT's sidewall better. dont know a thing about the tires though. just my opinion.
Go with the Xtreme A/T's....
I had them before awesome all around tire. |
I think the ATZ is the best looking all terrain there is.
I haven't had either, but I like the ATZs ALOT better. I'm not a big fan of Pro-Comp tires. Had a set of Mud terrains and a set of X-terrains, and wasn't impressed at all by either.

Oh, what do you have planned to do with your current tires and wheels?

Both are good choices.
I definitely say go with the MT ATZ...they are extremely aggressive looking, but provide a comfortable ride and they are not at all noisy.
No better looking AT tire out there IMHO. Schmidtty |
another vote for the ATZ's. Ive had them for about 8 months and love them
ATZ's are a great looking tire!
I have 4 ATZ's sitting in my garage right now (325/60/18)...got them off ebay for $255! The tire looks even better in person, I can't wait to get them on my truck.
Have to say the ATZ's. Ive seen quite a few SuperDutys running them and they have liked them saying they are quiet and ride nice.
X a/t's. I will dare to be different
Anyone have any mileage numbers on these tires?
almost 10k here. these tires come with a 40k treadwear warranty.
