will 35x12.50 work on 03 fx4 with torsion bar cranked on stock 17's

You will need more lift. 3inch body lift at minimum.

how are these guys with 05 and 06's getting by with just a 2 1/2 leveling kit. If i crank the torsion bar and block the rear is that not about the same. Or dose the newer body style sit that much higher. Thanks for any input just trying to figure this out. I like your set up. that looks good. Thats what i am shooting for. Did you do your body lift yourself.

You can fit 35x12.50's (315/70-17's) on a stock 97-03 4x4 using the oem wheels, but it is a very tight fit. You will have some rubbing on the frame at full steering lock. If you don't plan to ever lift the truck, I'd stick with 33's.
