Custom Brakes?
Hey guys,
I got my truck used and it came all hooked up and stuff. I think it has custom breaks because it stops like wayyy better than the stock 07 f150 I test drove when I was choosing which truck to get. Also, it stops 10x better than my moms explorer and my dads f350. It has 4 big disc brakes. Could they be custom breaks? Mike |
Show us a pic  Are the rotors slotted?

Torkum I have a '97 F150 Lariat and want to convert my drums to discs. Can you guide me or offer some suggestions. I'm thinking of bolting on an entire Lightning backend, would that work or is there a disc conversion package out there. What about lug patterns because I have on aftermarket 18" wheels and plan to go up to 20". Any ideas will be appreciated.

No ABS
Well if I have to give up my ABS I think I'll stay with the drums.

Good!
Well let me have a look at that one the 97XLT because I was actually thinking of switching the back end to a Lightning but I was concerned about mating it to my drivetrain.
