285/75/16's...will they work Help plz.
I have a 97 f150 flareside 4wd with stock suspension...no offroad package suspension or anything. lookin to buy a set of hercules trail diggers but want a set of 285/75/16's will they rub/what would i have to cut if they do/or should i stick with 265/75/16s? will most likely be mounting them on **** cepek dc-1's with 4.5" backspace/or stock 16's for now. help me out if ya know. thanks

They will fit easily. If you use a 10 inch wide wheel, you will have to trim the front bumper's lower plastic valance slightly.
awesome 285/75/16's it is then youre absolutely positive they'll slide in without rubbin huh? what would a 10 inch wheel do different for me than a 8 inch
oh n i jus noticed if i get he **** cepek wheels they only have a 4.03" BS for the 8 inch
Yea they will fit. I have 285/75/16 on my stock wheels and have no problems.
yeah those will be fine, a little more bs means they won't stick out quite as far. an 10'' rim would just stick out farther and would make the tire look a little wider due to it being mounted on a wider surface....that should be a sweet looking setup.......consider the 305/70/16(33x12.50) if they make the tire you like in that size, would be a really nice setup, that is what I plan on doing someday........
sweet thanks for the help guys. TOMKEMP... so would 285/75s fit with my stock wheels and no lift or would they rub? n yea id love to go with 305s not sure if they make em though i plan on buyin a new set of wheels n tires to run in the summer so they may be in the future
Yes, they will fit fine.
