I have a 2002 Supercrew with 265/70/17's on it now and will be buying new tires in the very near future. I am looking at 285/70/17 BFG A/T's, 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler's, 295/70/17 Toyo Open Country M/T's, & 285/70/17 BFG M/T's. I will be cranking the torsion bars up and getting an alignment before I buy tires, but I wanted to see what everyone on here thinks about my choices. I mainly drive on-road with the occasional off-road jaunt. Any opinions or feedback on experiences would really help. Thanks

 

all of those are great tires, I have 285's and I like them but I want to go bigger next time, go bigger! personally I would go Toyo OC MT, great on road manners for an mt and good tread life and they look awesome.

 

Yep, they are all excellent tires. If most of you driving is on the road, you will be better off with one of the AT's.
