nitto terra grapplers

hey guys im looking to get new tires for my truck n i got a good price on these tires and i was woundering if theres alot of people with these tires or not, and how good they are? Im still in the air on what tires i want to get, i wnt something that will be somewhat aggressive but not real expensive, i only have about 1000 to work with. they are going on my stock 17" wheels. anybody have any suggestions?

I just got a set for my F150 they kick *** I was out in the snow a little while ago they are a great tire!

I second that. The Terra Grapplers are a great tire. They are also $700 with free shipping at Discount Direct Tire for a set.


BTW...that price is for the 295's which you can run on your oem wheels without any type of lift with 0 issues.

I jut put on an NCD leveling kit today and need to fill up my wheel wells some. I was looking at the Nittos ina 285/60/18 to go on my stock wheels. Will these do the job, or does anyone have any pics of this set up or something similar? What other sizes are out there o the Nitto Terra Grapplers? I'm new to the world of 18" wheels and metric tire szes...

how well do they handle in the snow? did u jus take it through lil snow or how much? has any1 them offroad if so how well do they take that? yea i got a 2.5" levl kit jus dont have it on yet, i would like to have a bigger tire but i cant with the terra grapplers becuase the biggest they mak for the 17 is the 296, is there another tire that compares in price range with the terra?

I can tell ya they do awesome off road, I took them off for the snow though, road salt here is killer!

Nitto's are made by Toyo which is also a good tire. The 295x70x17 is a nice size tire for a leveled truck. A little over 33".

I want to second the Nitto's, only had them for a few months but they have yet to let me down in the sand. Great in the rain too and seem to be wearing well.

Well the 285/65/18 is 33X11.50 is what was on my tires. it would be a tad shorter

well i made my decision and i ordered them i got the 296/17 im hoping i made a good decision, i get them put on this sat, now i jus need to find a coil spring compressor so i can get my leveling kit installed. thanks for the input guys.
