Could new Helo Maxx be warped?

i just received my new rims today and took them to be mounted. on the fourth one they said it needed 6 oz of weight and that it was warped. they spun it for me and you could see a very slight wobble. is it possible they manufactured a warped rim?

If it wobbles without the tire, you need to send it back.

Have the shop put the bare rim on the balancer and spin it.

Wobble

If the run-out is bad with no tire on it, it's probably a bad wheel....it happens sometimes. Wherever you bought it should be able to handle it with the distributor they bought it from. (That distributor is more than likely Wheel Pros, Inc.) I'm just not sure about eBay.

Like these other guys said, have the shop put it back on the machine with no tire and see what it does.

If you look at his post, he already mounted the tires, then took them off. If the rim is warped, then it shouldn't matter if it has been mounted or not. It's a manufacturer's defect. And if he won't stand behind that kind of a defect, I wouldn't deal with him.
