Lug Pattern

I want to make sure i know the right lug pattern for my f150, its a 2001 4x4 supercrew. i think it is 5x135?I am looking to buy a 20" wheel tire combo. Thanks!

Check which year model the wheels are made for.

Ford also changed the wheel stud thread pitch from 12mm-1.75 to 14mm-1.50 and the early wheels will have tiny bolt holes. Also if possible get a single drilled(fits just your application)wheel as typically it will be hubcentric. 20" wheels and tires have alot of mass so you want them to run as true as possible.

good point but i believe 99 or 2000 is when they stopped using the smaller studs.

and yes if you can, or have the choice, try to find hub centric wheels over lug centric.

Lugs were changed on the early 2000 model year. 2000's are the ones you have to be careful about. 99 an earlier all have 12mm lugs. 01 and later all have 14mm lugs.
