Rims will be here tomorrow and I'm looking at options for tires.

I have the stock General's on my truck now and I think they are 265's.

Will these tires fit on the Eagle 187's?

I'm trying not to buy new tires unless I absolutely have to.

I plan on buying some A/T's or M/T's in the future...I'm assuming a 285 or 295/70 will be the biggest I can run without ANY rubbing.

Is this correct?

My truck is stock height now, but I am thinking about a 2" leveling kit. Does the leveling kit have any adverse affects on our trucks?

 

Yes, 265's will fit on the 17x9's.
Some people believe the leveling kits increase the wear on the ball joints, but some have had no problems at all.
