Question 20" FX4 take offs fit on any F150?

Right now my 2006 XLT supercab has the standard 17" chrome wheels. I was thinking of buying some factor take off 20" FX4 wheels off ebay. Will these just fit on my truck without issue? Do the factory FX4 trucks that come with 20" wheels come with any kind of kit pre-installed to make them fit? I am also open to just putting bigger tires on the 17" rim, whichever method will raise the truck more without adding a kit. Thanks for any help you can give. You can see why I want bigger ANYTHING in the wheel section in the image below. The tires look tiny to me. Thanks.

I just took of the stock OEM 20's off of my FX4. I have the for sale in the classified section of this website. They should fit your truck. Do you have a 4x2 or 4x4?

It's a 4x2. Vehicle is in Tampa, FL so not a whole lot of use for 4x4 here

They should still fit. My FX4 came with them as a option and there was nothing special done to it to run them. I am now running a AS 2.5" Level kit on it and plan on running 33's. Are you going for a lowered look with larger rims or a lifted look with larger tires?

Ideally I guess maybe a lifted look with larger tires. I was thinking about the terra grapplers at 285 70 17 (assuming those will fit without rubbing) on these factory rims, but am having a hard time making up my mind what I want. Good to know though that I can fit the fx4 20s if need be. I will let you know if im interested in purchasing yours. Thanks!

You can always install a Autospring 2" level kit on your truck and then run larger tires with no issues. Again, I'm running a AS 2.5" The kit really improves the look of your truck and is only about $100 for it. Of course install and alignment is extra unless you can do the install yourself. Here's a link to their site:

Yeah the leveling kit is an option, but I would have to have someone to install it since I would probably screw it up. Has anyone put 285 70 17 on those stock 17" wheels here? I have a feeling that might be pushing it, but figured I would check.

The factory 20's are optional on FX2's which is a 2wd xlt anyway. so you should have no problem fitting them

Is the 2 inch AS pretty much required to run that size on those wheels? Looks fantastic by the way.

I believe you can, but...

I had my tires mounted for about 10 days before the 2 inch AS was installed and I had no rubbing while driving on the streets, but I believe I read on some post on the forum that said you would get some rubbing off road and while turning hard. Try doing a search on the topic.
