I am getting my Helo Maxx 6 rims in a few days and will have my Rugged Trail tires mounted on the new rims. I would like to have the lettering on the inside so it cannot be seen anymore. Is this possible? or is the tire directional or something?

Yes, you can flip them so the black letters will be out.

 

I ran that way for a few months before getting my new 305-65-18s. A word of advice, the black side will be a brown color and it takes constantly applications of tire shine to keep it black.
