Pro Comp Tires

I've been looking all over the web at what tires i want. I really cant seem to find anything. I want something more aggressive then an all-terrian but not a mud terrian. I seen that the pro comp xtreme all terrian look like there in the middle. Please any opinions will help. Dont want to spend over a grand and not like them. Thanks (35x12.5x18)

Look at the **** Cepek fun country II, its supposed to be a hybrid mud/all terrain tire. I was lookink at those but ended up going with the terra grapplers.

Dont offer them in a 35x12.50. I need something with good offroad traction but still has good road manners.

The Xtreme AT's are getting great reviews so far. Also, they look much better in person than in the magazine pics.

I agree I have the xtreme a/t's and I love them they look really agressive although I havent taken them offroading yet because I just got them a month ago and havent had time to go. The only thing about those is that they only come in 13.50 so you would need a lift I'm assuming. Well you cant go wrong with the BFG A/T KO thats a really good tire also and that of coarse comes in the size that you want

Pro Comp Extreme AT tires

I have the ProComp Xtreme AT's on my 04 SCrew 4x4 with the 2.5 Pro Comp leveling kit. I have put about 1,000 miles on them, mostly on-road, and they are the best AT tires I have ever tried. I have tried Goodyear, Bridgestone, BFG, and lots of others but nothing comes close to the ride I get with the Xtreme ProComps. Even in wet weather, which we have had plenty of here in Atlanta lately, they ride great on the interstate. Very little hum and much, much smoother than the factory BFG's.

Mine are in 305/65/17 on ProComp Xtreme Chrome alloys. I will try to put some pics up later. They are also the only off-road type tread tire that I could find that offers a 40,000 mile warranty.

Look at Cooper SST Tires I put them on my 2005 F350 and can't get over the low road noise. The traction is very good in the snow I didn't use 4x4 to get to work. I don't have any weight in the back.

the xterrains are pretty decent- while their overall section width is 12.5, the actual footprint is only about 11" max. they are quiet on the highway unless you get into any standing water, slush, or snow- then they get a good buzz going. traction wise, like you said, they are a good middleground between a full m/t and an a/t. they do great in any amount of fresh snow, they do good on hard-pack snow, they are kinda crappy on slick hard pack and ice- on dirt they bite and hold very well, in mud they do very well also. on wet roads, they grip o.k.-(accelerating, hard turns it would be nice if they gripped a bit more- but once you get going you dont need to worry about hydroplaning or such)
35x12.5R18's here.

You might want to check out Nitto Terra Grapplers. They arent too aggresive but they will work offroad and have awesome road manners. My brother has them on his Z71 Tahoe and they are super quiet and look awesome. BFG all-terrains are a great tire also.
